Virtual family kingdom?

i finally got in vfk and i walked around and all but it dont let me change my character or when i type something it dont come up and most of all im the only one walkin around where is everyone else isn't there supposed to be people and stuff ?? if anyone is haveing the same prob tell me or if there's is working tell me cuz i dont kno wats up with this game but i miss VMK a whole lot :'(
