Local delicacies YOU thought everybody ate! .....?
I thought everyone knew about Poutine. Now I hear it's only in Quebec. French Fries with brown gravy and curd cheese. Everyone loves it here, but it seems few people have heard about it anywhere else. And the poutines in New Brunswick are not the same at all. It's made with sort of a mashed potato. Tourtiere is a minced pork pie, very traditional in Quebec. Pig's feet with meat. And how can anyone have Christmas without snow??? That's like having X-mas without turkey, sweet potatoes, brocolli, mashed potatoes, stuffing. And you wonder what's on our plates. They're not empty, that's for sure. And New Years we have ham.
