How to stop a bully ???

Ok i know this one foo he likes to bully me By the way I'm 17 & hes 17 to, But i know i can beat him upp but if i do he's going to get people on me & I'll get people on him & its going to be like a war. I just wanna stop him from bullying without no fighting, If he wasnt in the gang i would of kicked his ***.
