Politically, why does the koran state that Jesus and them were Muslim?

Those desert jin works wonders on one's mind. Mohammed was reaching too far to try to authenticate his new religion, and making himself the favored one over Moses and Jesus. I didn't know he said Paul was the Antichrist, and Mohammed not believing Jesus was the Christ, I have no idea what he was thinking. You know he was illiterate and depended on scribes to write down everything he said, so who knows if they were accurate or added their own two cents worth in. As far as I know, Jesus didn't write anything down nor did he ask anyone too. They just did it after he was gone.
