Do you believe in platonic soul mates?

Actually, this is a good question. I have had many, many platonic female relationships (I'm a male) and have had all my life even though I'm an heteroual. In many ways physical would trivialize the relationship. My not giving into physical temptations, your relationship actually gains more power than if it were physical. The concept of a soul is such a deep philosophical question, one that's hard to qualify in words and yet we know intuitively when we've attained such a friendship. Deep love can be expressed by a person's aura, gestures, the energy field of the heart, in elegance of words, in prayers spoken within and without for our friend, and in confiding deep secrets and feelings that we would not share with someone else but that we know somehow that our soul mate would understand. Sometimes you may run into a platonic soul mate after a long absence and can have the joy of renewing your friendship; perhaps you had a ual relationship with someone a long time ago but now due to present cirstances (marriage, etc) it must become platonic. You'll find the true essence of your friendship all along transcended mere physical attractions into a deeper fields of the soul space which are eternal unconditional love, acceptance notwithstanding the cirstances, and as the Bible states in the Song of Solomon, that love is stronger than death. You know somehow that time will not sever your love with your platonic soul mate. I wish you happy relationships with one or more platonic soulmates.
